The recent event at London South Bank University was a great success, raising over £600 towards the Help Ukraine Emergency Appeal.
Following the success of this event, Graham Colley has been active in arranging a showing of the film Mr Jones at the National Liberal Club. His proposal has been given added urgency and poignancy now, as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The movie tells the story of Gareth Jones, a Welsh journalist who travelled secretly to the USSR to uncover the truth about the Holodomor, the great famine of 1993 under Stalin’s regime in the Ukraine.
Graham Colley has arranged for one gala screening to be shown at the National Liberal Club at 6.30pm on 20 June 2022.
Location: 1 Whitehall Place, London, SW1A 2HE
**URGENT UPDATE*

This also opens up the possibility for those who were unable to come to London to support #HelpUkraine and to attend a virtual event.
Admission is FREE and open to all. There will be a collection taken up for the current Hlp Ukraine Emergency Appeal, so please be generous and even if you cannot attend, please think about making a donation.
